Berlin Free Tour
We'll start this free tour of Berlin in English in front of the iconic Brandenburg Gate, where we'll meet at the appointed time. From here, the most emblematic monument of the German capital, we'll head towards various places in the city linked to World War II.
We'll pass the Holocaust Monument and the Führerbunker: Adolf Hitler's bunker, a symbol of the war and one of the darkest episodes of recent history.
The tour will continue to the former Reich Air Ministry. We'll also stop at one of the remaining sections of the Berlin Wall and pass the legendary Checkpoint Charlie, the most famous border crossing in the German capital during the Cold War.
We'll then head to the Gendarmenmarkt Platz, where we'll see its twin churches from the outside. The next stop is Bebelplatz. This square was the site of one of the darkest episodes for culture during the Nazi era: a massive book burning.
After 3 hours 30 minutes tour the tour will end in the area of the Museum Island. There we'll see the exterior architecture of the imposing Berlin Cathedral, built in neo-baroque style between the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century.
On our free tour of the German capital, we don't accept bookings for more than 6 people. If you're a larger group, you'll need to book a private tour of Berlin.
