Day Trip Details
Having been picked up from your selected meeting point in Bilbao, we'll leave the city behind and set off on the road southbound. On your journey, we'll pass through the beautiful mountainous and forested landscapes of the Basque Country.
Our first stop will be at a unique traditional winery, excavated underground. There, we'll learn firsthand about the artisanal winemaking process and enjoy an exquisite tasting of their best wines, true liquid gems of the region.
We'll continue on to Laguardia, considered one of the most beautiful villages in Spain. We'll take a walking tour of its medieval centre, admiring its fortified architecture and stately homes. At the end of the tour, you'll have free time to have lunch in its typical restaurants and explore its corners at your leisure.
In the afternoon, we'll visit Vitoria-Gasteiz, the capital of the Basque Country. We'll stroll through its historic centre, where medieval tradition coexists in harmony with modernity. As a grand finale, we'll stop at a renowned artisan chocolate shop to taste typical sweets, delighting in the most select flavours of Basque pastries. Delicious!
Finally, we'll make our way back to Bilbao, where we'll conclude this experience after 9 hours of cultural and wine immersion.
