Having been picked up from your selected meeting point in Bilbao, you'll leave the city behind and set off on the road southbound. On your journey, you'll pass through the beautiful mountainous and forested landscapes of the Basque Country.
Your tour will lead us through the vineyard-covered countryside of Alava to Laguardia, the most famous town in the Rioja Alavesa region, thanks to its enchanting historic architecture and its excellent wineries.
We'll explore the Medieval streets, grand houses, and fascinating fortified churches of Laguardia. We'll also enjoy a guided tour of a traditional winery where we'll have a wine tasting. Then, you'll get free time to eat lunch at one of the traditional restaurants in the picturesque town.
After lunch, we'll head to Vitoria, where we'll embark on a walking tour of the historic center. For the cherry on the cake of your visit, you'll head to an artisanal sweet shop where you'll get to taste a typical local sweet - delicious!
You'll be dropped back off at the starting point in Bilbao after a total of 9 hours.
