Explore the colourful, colonial streets of the La Candelaria neighbourhood, with this tour where you'll enjoy several Colombian coffees. Not to be missed!
Bogota Coffee Tour
We'll start our coffee tour on Calle 16 in the La Candelaria neighbourhood, and for two and a half hours we'll walk through the colonial area of this part of Bogota, stopping at various places along the way to try different types of excellent Colombian coffee.
You'll learn all about how to distinguish different types of coffee; for example, the blends from the Huila and Cauca regions stand out for their aroma and flavour. We'll also explain about the different coffee-growing regions in Colombia and the different products farmed there.
We'll take several stops along the way, stopping twice at coffee shops in La Candelaria. Not only will you be able to enjoy this delicious Colombian drink, but you'll also learn about the different ways of preparing coffee, with chemex, aeropress and drip coffee makers. You'll see how each of these techniques are different but simple methods of making a good cup of coffee.
After enjoying some of the best coffee Colombia has to offer, we'll return to our initial meeting point and the tour will come to an end.
