Szentendre Half-Day Trip
Day Trip Details
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Intercontinental Hotel and leave Budapest behind for this day trip to Szentendre, a picturesque destination known as the Artists’ Village for its many galleries and museums.
Once there, we'll take a stroll through its historic centre, which is characterised by narrow streets and baroque settlements built on medieval ruins. During the tour, we'll pass by the Marzipan Museum, where you'll be able to try some of these typical sweets on your own.
After the guided tour, you'll have about 1.5 hours of free time to continue exploring this beautiful town at your leisure. You can enjoy a coffee on one of the terraces or visit one of the museums, such as the Margit Kovács Ceramics Museum, which has more than 300 sculptures by the artist it's named after.
Finally, we'll return to the starting point, where we'll say goodbye after a total of 4 hours of sightseeing.
