Discover one of the most symbolic buildings in Buenos Aires, Palacio Barolo, with this guided tour. You'll uncover the secrets hidden within the structure which used to be the tallest building in South America.
Palacio Barolo Tour
Learn more about the history, literature and architecture of one of the city's most impressive monuments. We'll meet at the time you've selected at the palace's main entrance and begin the tour.
We'll go inside and explore the interesting facts about the 22-story building which was declared a National Historic Monument in 1997. Currently, it is home to travel agencies, a Spanish school, clothing store and offices. It also has a taller twin brother in Montevideo, built by the same architect. The building's design reflects Dante's Divine Comedy, hell, purgatory and heaven.
Next, we'll go up to the terrace in a vintage 1920s style lift, to admire the spectacular scenery of the Argentine capital from the rooftop lighthouse. Enjoy a traditional lemonade as you relax in front of the Buenos Aires views, 100 metres up.
Then we'll head back to the ground floor and the tour will end there after an hour and a half.
