Burgos Private Guided Tour
We'll meet in the old town of Burgos, in the Plaza del Rey San Fernando. There, in one of the most atmospheric places in the city, we'll be greeted by the most important building, the Cathedral.
Did you know that it is one of the best examples of Gothic art in Europe? Its façade impresses locals and visitors alike. The tour will continue around the religious monuments of Burgos, approaching the church of San Nicolás de Bari, located just a few metres from the Burgos Cathedral.
Our next stop will be the Plaza Mayor, and after strolling around it we'll go to the Arch of Santa María. We'l go back in time to the Middle Ages, when the arch was one of the access gates to the town.
We'll pass by the Teatro Principal, and make a stop at the palace of the Constables of Castile. Popularly known as the Casa del Cordón, this 15th century palace will welcome us to the old Plaza del Mercado Mayor (Main Market Square). Look out for the coats of arms on the façade!
