Scuba Diving Introduction

When making your booking, you'll be able to choose between two different options. Both start at 10:30 am, last 8 hours and include the following: boat transport, an English speaking instructor, 1 oxygen tank and scuba diving equipment. The details of the different options are below:

Scuba Diving Introduction from Cancun

We'll meet at 10:30 am at Kukulcan Boulevard in Cancun. You'll learn the basics of scuba diving so you can later dive in the beautiful Caribbean open seas.

First, we will attend a one-hour theory lesson with videos. Then, we'll move onto a practice class and start diving into confined water for one hour. We'll learn how to breathe with a regulator and some underwater language to communicate basic things. Once we've learned everything we need to know, it's time to practice in open waters.

At 2 pm we'll set sail for the Manchones reef, a 12 kilometers-long reef full of corals and tropical fish. Ready for an underwater experience that you'll never forget? We'll venture 10 meters deep into the water, exploring the rich sea life and enjoying the peace and tranquility underwater. What's more, we are likely to see turtles and stingrays swimming next to us during our dive.

Scuba Diving Introduction from Costa Mujeres

We'll meet at your hotel in Costa Mujeres and, 30 minutes later, we'll start a theory class in the same hotel. We'll learn all the essential techniques for swimming easily under the sea and, after mastering the theory, we'll head to a confined water pool to put our theory into practice.

For the practical part of our lesson, we'll board a boat on the coast and set sail for the Manchones reef. We'll get into the water and scuba dive in search of the starfish, sea turtles, manta rays, corals and schools of fish that thrive beneath the water's surface.
