Immerse yourself in the heart of the Mayan empire as you discover the majestic ruins of Chichén Itzá: an unmissable visit in Mexico!
Chichén Itzá Guided Tour Itinerary
The tour meets in the archaeological site at 9:30 am, in the north of the Yucatán peninsula, to begin a guided tour, reliving the golden age of Mayan civilisation.
Accompanied by a guide expert in local history, we'll discover why this site is considered one of the Seven New Wonders of the World.
The best-known image of Chichén Itzá is the mythical and imposing pyramid dedicated to the God Kukulkán. Known as 'The Castle' by the conquistadors, this temple dominated the religious life of the region, functioning as a giant sacred calendar for the Mayans.
During our tour of Chichén Itzá we'll see the Temple of the Warriors and its thousand columns with their engravings up close. And we'll discover the reality of the Mesoamerican ballgame, a sacred sport played by the pre-hispanic civilisations of Mexico.
