On this canoe tour of the Sundays River, we'll paddle along the famous Alexandria Dunes and spot the countless species of birds that fly over the area.
At the appointed time, we'll meet at the Taste of Africa restaurant. From there, we'll head to the Colchester Jetty to begin a canoe tour on the Sundays River, one of the most important rivers in South Africa.
The route will take us to the mouth of the Sundays, about 2.2 miles (3.5 kilometers) away. Throughout the canoe tour, we'll spot the numerous birds that fly over this area. There are about 210 different species!
Not to mention, as we paddle our way down the river, we'll have incredible views of the Alexandria Dunes and the wild animals that walk along the shore. A fascinating experience!
The canoe tour ends at the starting point after two to four hours, depending on the tide and wind.
