We'll meet at the designated time on the corner of Plaza de Armas with the Avenida El Sol to start our free night tour of Cusco. Are you ready to discover the Imperial City under the starlight?
We'll start exploring the Plaza de Armas of Cusco and discover the exterior of the majestic Cathedral of Cusco and the Iglesia de la Compañía de Jesús. You'll be amazed by the beauty of these monuments! Next, we'll walk along Calle Loreto, also known as Inti Kiqllu, the last preserved Inca street, where we'll tell you about the impressive buildings of Acclla Wasi and Amarucancha.
Our next stop will be the esplanade of Qorikancha, the “Golden Temple,” the most important sanctuary of Incan civilization. From here, we'll continue exploring the exterior of the Palace of Pachacútec to learn more about the history of this important leader.
Afterward, we'll pass by the Palacio Arzobispal (Palacio del Inca Roca) and visit the famous Calle Hatun Rumiyoc, where you'll have the chance to admire the twelve-angled stone. It's an authentic wonder of Incan engineering! We'll continue our tour in San Blas, known for being the neighborhood of artisans. Here, you'll enjoy local art and visit the home of the Olave family, as we stroll the charming 16th-century streets.
To wrap up our tour, we'll walk to a lookout close to the Iglesia de San Blas, where you'll enjoy incomparable scenic views of the city of Cusco lit up. We'll say our goodbyes after our 2-hour tour here.
