Quad Bike Tour Details
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Cusco at the indicated time and head to Japura, where we'll enjoy a hearty buffet breakfast. Afterwards, we'll give you an introduction to how to drive the quad bikes.
Once we're on the quad bikes, we'll start a 45-minute route through dirt roads surrounded by breathtaking scenery, on our way to the famous Vinicunca, the Seven Colours Mountain! Upon arrival, we'll park the vehicles and walk for about 45 minutes to the summit, located 17060 ft (5200 m) above sea level. From here, we'll enjoy the extraordinary scenic views.
After taking some impressive photos and admiring the landscape, we'll start our walk back to the quads. Then, we'll drive for another 45 minutes back to the pickup point, where we'll enjoy a buffet lunch.
We'll finish the tour by returning to Cusco, and we'll drop you off near the Plaza de Armas 12 and 13 hours after the activity started.
Quad Bike Ride + Hike
When booking, you can choose the option that also includes a hiking route. We'll arrive by quad bike at the Rainbow Mountain car park and, during the last kilometre and a half, we'll start a short 1-hour walk to climb the famous Seven Colours Mountain. If you do not wish to walk, you can access this place by booking an optional motorbike ride at the destination.
Activity Requirements
- You must be at least 18 years old to be able to drive the quad bikes. People between 12 and 18 can ride the quad bikes as passengers on double quads.
- In addition, pregnant people, people with heart problems, anxiety, and/or claustrophobia may not participate in this activity.
