Go kayaking and snorkelling in Fajardo and explore the beautiful Cabezas de San Juan Natural Reserve. Mangroves and great biodiversity await you!
Activity Details
We'll meet at the designated time at Carretera Cabezas de San Juan in the Cabezas de San Juan Natural Reserve. Here, we'll give you a warm welcome and a brief introduction before handing out the kayaks we'll use to explore the Cabezas de San Juan Natural Reserve. Ready to get rowing? Let's go!
As we paddle, we'll venture through water surrounded by mangroves, sandy beaches, and rock formations. Cameras at the ready? This sanctuary of biodiversity and marine life is one of the most important and beautiful ones on Puerto Rico's northeastern coast. Along the journey, we'll get to see a great variety of tropical flora and perhaps an example of exotic animals and sea birds.
We'll return to our meeting point for a rest, enjoying a snack and some water to re-energise before moving on to the next phase of our experience. Once we're all ready, we'll gear up with the necessary snorkelling equipment, and we'll venture into the natural reserve's waters. We'll learn all the basic techniques to make the most of this activity.
Then we'll swim to a nearby coral reef, and you'll immediately get to experience its incredible sea life. With unbeatable visibility, we'll be greeted by a natural spectacle that will be etched in our minds: exotic and agile fish, turtles swimming peacefully, and various creatures hidden among the corals.
After exploring this Puerto Rican underwater paradise, we'll return to our initial meeting point after a total of 3 hours.
