Boat Tour Details
At the indicated time, we'll meet at Graslei, on the banks of Ghent's canals to start this boat tour of the medieval city.
During the 40-minute boat ride, you'll explore the historical center of Ghent in a unique way. We'll see some of the city's main points of interest, such as the Castle of the Counts of Ghent, the old houses on the Graslei and Korenlei quays, the Cathedral of St. Bavo, and the Church of St. Nicholas.
You'll also discover the most amazing stories of the birthplace of Charles V, such as the importance and function of the Ghent canals. We'll also pass by the Belfort Tower and the old fish market, among many other sights!
Finally, we'll return to the departure pier.
Tour Schedule
The Ghent boat tour departs from the departure pier every hour in the following time slots:
- November 7th to March 31st: 11 am to 4 pm
- April 1st to November 5th: 11 am to 6 pm
- December 24th and 31st: 11 am to 2 pm
The boat tour does not operate November 21st to 25th and on December 25th and January 1st. However, please note that all these schedules are subject to change and may vary.
