After picking you up at your hotel, we'll go to the airport you have chosen to board one of the first flights to Denizli. In about 70 minutes we'll have landed in the city, characterised by its industrial activity and its excellent location in a valley.
Once there, we'll board a vehicle that will take us to the Hierapolis sites to discover the ruined city that was once one of the summer destinations of the nobles of the Roman Empire. Thermal baths, theatres and tombs are just some of the sites we'll see on this tour. What would cause the decline of this splendid city? We will find out!
We'll walk through Pamukkale, translated as the cotton castle. This mountain is a true natural phenomenon that reaches 160 metres in height. However, what will really attract our attention will be the white cover of its surface which reminds us of snowflakes. You'll feel like a Roman from the imperial period taking a bath in the Ancient Pool (not included).
Before returning to the airport, we'll recover our strength with a buffet menu.
After the excursion to Hierapolis and Pamukkale, we'll return to Denizli airport and take you back to your hotel.
Important
This tour includes pick-up and transfer from the main hotels in Istanbul. If your accommodation is not in the indicated area, we'll propose you alternatives. We'll pick you up from your hotel between 4 - 4:30 am to go to the airport.
The flight will arrive at Pamukkale around 8:30 am, however, the tour starts at 10 am when the monumental site opens.
The return time is around 8 - 9:30 pm. This varies depending on the traffic in the area.
