Visit some of the most fascinating Biblical sites on this trip to Bethlehem, the birth city of Jesus, and Jericho, the oldest city in the world.
Bethlehem and Jericho Day Trip
After picking you up from your chosen meeting point around 9 am, we'll start our journey to Jesus' birthplace.
Our first stop in Bethlehem will be the tomb of the matriarch Rachel, where traditionally many Jewish women come to pray for fertility or a trouble-free birth.
We then visit Manger Square which is home to the Basilica of the Nativity and the grotto which the Bible describes as the birthplace of Jesus. Before leaving Bethlehem behind, we will climb up to Shepherd's Field, the place from where the pastors set off to honour the nativity of Jesus.
We'll continue travelling through the Judean desert until we reach the Inn of the Good Samaritan, the scene of the celebrated parable of Jesus.
Our next stop is Jericho, considered the oldest city in the world. Here we'll encounter the sycamore tree from which Zacchaeus witnessed Christ passing through the city.
To finish the visit in the best possible way possible, we'll ride the cable car (not included) to the top of the Mount of Temptation where you'll be rewarded with impressive views of Jericho and the desert landscapes that surround the city.
After 9 hours exploring the essential places in Bethlehem and Jericho, we'll return to Jerusalem and drop you back at the meeting point at the end of the evening.
