Polish Food and Vodka Tour
Sample Poland’s most exquisite dishes on a 2.5-hour walking tour of Krakow accompanied by an English-speaking culinary expert and try the country’s national alcoholic beverage: Vodka.
Polish Food and Vodka Tour
Meet your guide at Krakow’s striking Main Square, in the heart of the city, and set off on a food tour of the best Polish eateries.
Explore the city’s most authentic markets in search of the most famous Polish products and dishes. Stop at one of the stands to try an Obwarzanek, a type of pretzel sprinkled with salt, sesame or poppy seeds. Then, discover the delicious Oscypek cheese made from goat’s milk and produced in Poland for centuries. Another ingredient which is widely used in Polish cuisine is the Kiszony ogórek, a typical Polish pickle and Kapusta (meaning cabbage in Polish).
Next, try the typical Kielbasa sausage, found in many varieties, and the exquisite Pierogi, savory or sweet filled dumplings. These have become the best-known Polish dish.
Stop at a typical restaurant where locals eat to sample a Zurek, which means Sour Bread Soup in English, widely eaten in Easter.
During lunch, you will also taste a Kompot, a sweet non-alcoholic beverage very popular in Poland followed by a Vodka tasting.
