Explore the northern Dominican Republic on this quad tour in Samaná, where you'll ride through cacao and coffee plantations and enjoy a traditional Dominican lunch with a local family from El Limón.
Tour Details
We'll meet at the entrance of the Puerto Plaza Hotel & Shops, a hotel in Las Terrenas, where we’ll go over the safety rules to follow during our route.
Once we're ready, we'll set off on an exciting quad tour of Samaná. Along the route through this peninsula, in the north of the Dominican Republic, we'll pass through lush tropical mountain landscapes dotted with numerous coffee and cocoa plantations.
We'll stop at two farms, each dedicated to one of these crops. During our visit, we'll learn about the cultivation of coffee and cocoa beans and enjoy a tasting of both Dominican specialties.
After exploring the plantations, we'll continue our quad adventure through several rural communities in Samaná. Along the way, we'll also cross some of the peninsula's rivers where, weather permitting, you can take a refreshing dip.
Our next stop will be in El Limón. In this peaceful Samaná village, we'll visit the home of a local family and share a traditional dish with them. The recipe may vary depending on the season, but it's always made with fresh, local ingredients.
After lunch, we'll head to a beautiful beach where you can relax and enjoy the stunning scenery. Following this moment of rest, we’ll get back on the quads and ride back to the meeting point in Las Terrenas, where this 6-hour activity will conclude.
