Buggy Tour
At the designated time, we'll meet at Puerto Plaza Hotel & Shops, and from this accommodation of Las Terrenas, we'll begin this exciting buggy tour of the Samaná Peninsula.
On board our buggies, we'll ride the dirt trail and pass rivers, beaches and traditional villages where you'll see incredible tropical landscapes. You'll see how the Samaná Peninsula is filled with coffee, cacao, and tobacco plantations, essential plantations in the history of this Caribbean country.
We'll stop at a traditional house of the area, where you'll enjoy a traditional Dominican lunch, including different specialties of the local cuisine. After lunch, we'll continue exploring the Samaná landscapes on buggies to admire more coffee, cacao, and tobacco plantations.
Along the way, we'll stop at some of these plantations, where we'll discover how organic coffee and cacao are made. You'll also learn how the famous Dominican cigars are made, whose artisanal process has been passed down from generation to generation for decades.
Finally, we'll return with our buggies to the meeting point, where we'll conclude this 6-hour tour.
