Day Trip Details

At the scheduled time, we'll meet in the heart of Lisbon to head to Sintra, located only half an hour from the Portuguese capital.

Once we get to Sintra, we'll start touring the historic center of this charming village that has many attractions. There we'll see the exterior of the National Palace of Sintra, originally in Arab style and renovated in the 15th century in the Manueline style. Did you know that it's part of the World Heritage List?

Then, we'll go on a guided tour of the Quinta da Regaleira Palace, an enigmatic complex with many secrets, legends, and mysteries. It also has gardens full of exotic species, waterfalls, grottoes, and even an initiatory well.

Afterward, we'll go on a guided tour of the Pena National Park and Palace, the most iconic monument of Sintra and one of the most visited locations in Portugal. Did you know that it was the residence of the Portuguese kings during the 19th century? We'll tell you all about the exciting facts hidden behind its walls!

Have you worked up an appetite? After the visit to Quinta da Regaleira, you'll have free time to have lunch in Sintra. After lunch, we'll stop briefly at the Cabo da Roca so you can take a beautiful keepsake photo from this impressive cliff.

Next, we'll enjoy a sightseeing tour of Cascais, where we'll get to this beautiful city by bus.

Lastly, between 8 and 9 hours later, we'll part ways in the center of Lisbon. See you soon!

Additional Info

Both the Quinta da Regaleira Palace and the Pena Palace may not be suitable for people with reduced mobility and people over 65 years of age. Additionally, on some occasions, the tour will be able to take place with smaller groups of up to 18 people.
