At the appointed time, we'll meet in via Claudio Cogorano and board a bus to leave Livorno behind, determined to explore two beautiful Tuscan cities.
One hour later we'll arrive in the historic centre of Lucca. We'll enjoy an escorted walking tour through the city to delve into its history and admire the façades of its main monuments.
Our tour will include viewing the exterior of the Basilica of San Frediano, a 12th-century church, and the tower of Palazzo Guinigi, among other significant landmarks. We'll also step back in time and reminisce about the gladiator fights that occurred in Amphitheater Square. During the tour, we'll share fascinating stories and fun facts about these places, including the renowned Italian composer, Giacomo Puccini, who once lived in this city.
After our walking tour, we'll leave you approximately two hours of free time for lunch and exploring the city further. Don't forget your camera!
After three hours in Lucca, we'll get back on the bus and go to see the monuments of Pisa. You'll be dropped off just 15 minutes walk from the iconic Piazza dei Miracoli, a World Heritage Site.
You'll have approximately one hour and 45 minutes free to see the world-famous Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Cathedral and the Baptistery, which you'll fall in love with!
After seven hours of sightseeing we'll be back at the starting point.
