    Very nice beach and good facilities at Hibiscus Beach Club. Perhaps the "Day use" fee is a bit expensive (my family paid 440 reais).

    An essential excursion for anyone wanting to learn about the history of the place they are visiting. Both our guide and the hosts at the historical site provided a comprehensive overview of the history of Quilombo dos Palmares and its main historical figures with great warmth and kindness. Lunch after the visit at the beautiful Baoba restaurant was very rewarding; the food was simply exquisite.
