If you're passionate about the environment, then our Manuel Antonio National Park Mangroves Tour is perfect for you. You'll board a kayak or boat and discover an extraordinary ecosystem like no other.
Manuel Antonio National Park Mangroves Tour
At 8:45 am we'll pick you up from your hotel and take you to the Manuel Antonio National Park dock. We hope you're ready to kayak or sail through this extraordinary natural park!
We'll cross a section of the Damas Island estuary, a wetland where we'll marvel at Costa Rica's unspoilt natural scenery. Keep your eyes peeled for white-faced capuchins, anteaters, herons, crocodiles, snakes and frigate birds.
As we sail, we'll get a glimpse of up to 6 different kinds of mangroves, such as the black, white and red mangroves. These shrubs can help to preserve some animal species, such as honey bees, which are safe and protected in this habitat.
When we return to shore, we'll have a delicious traditional local meal consisting of rice, beans, salad, meat, plantain and a soft drink.
After lunch, we'll take you back to your hotel at 11:15 am.
