Stepping into the Majorelle Garden means discovering one of the most magical and photogenic spots in Marrakech. With this ticket, which includes an audio guide, you can explore this botanical oasis at your own pace, where an intense cobalt blue blends with the lush green vegetation.
Majorelle Garden
Welcome to one of Morocco’s most dazzling treasures! Originally designed by the French Orientalist painter Jacques Majorelle in the 1920s. It was later saved from real estate development in 1980 by the iconic designer Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé. This space is a true living work of art in the heart of the Red City!
The garden is home to plant species from all five continents: a monumental collection of exotic cacti, towering palm trees, a bamboo forest, and ponds filled with water lilies and delicate lotus flowers. All of this is set among soothing fountains and pavilions featuring Art Deco and Moorish architectural elements.
The garden’s most distinctive hallmark is, without a doubt, the famous Majorelle Blue, an intense shade patented by the painter himself to create a striking contrast against the lush vegetation. At the center of the complex stands the artist’s former villa and studio—renamed Villa Oasis by Saint Laurent—which now preserves this historic botanical and artistic legacy.
