Mexico City 2-Day Tour
Day 1: Teotihuacán at Sunrise (8 hours)
We'll pick you up at the selected meeting point in Mexico City and set off towards Teotihuacán, the 'City of the Gods'. Here you'll have the unique opportunity to enjoy this archaeological site while the sun rises above the mythical remains.
Here you'll visit the Calzada de los Muertos, the Pyramid of the Sun, and the Pyramid of the Moon, wall paintings and the majestic Quetzalpapálotl Palace. An unforgettable day immersed in the myth and mystery of Aztec culture.
To complete the day, we'll visit a family workshop where we'll learn about the work of obsidian rock pieces.
We'll take you back to the pickup point between 2:20 and 2:50 pm.
Day 2: Mexico City Tour (6 hours)
On the second day, after meeting up, we'll then head over to the National Museum of Anthropology. Here we'll learn about the pre-Hispanic history of Mexico in some of its most important rooms on native villages, Otopame, cultures Oaxaca, Los Nahuas, and more.
Then we hop on public transport and continue to the historic center of the city, where we'll see the National Palace, Palace of Fine Arts and the famous Metropolitan Cathedral, a masterpiece combining gothic, baroque, and neoclassical architecture.
To complete the day, we'll visit the Templo Mayor Museum, an archaeological site with a Mexica temple from the ancient capital city of Tenochtitlan. Here, we'll learn the most relevant facts about this civilization and its culture.
At 3:50 pm, the tour will come to an end and we'll say our goodbyes.
When booking, please note the following pickup points in Mexico City:
- Day 1: You can choose between Miga Café at 6:20 am, or Hostal Amigo at 6:50 am.
- Day 2: You must be at the entrance to the National Museum of Anthropology at 8:50 am.
