On this 2-day trip to Buenos Aires, you'll travel on a direct Buquebus ferry or, if you prefer, you can go by bus to Colonia del Sacramento and continue by ferry to the Argentinian capital. In both cases, you'll enjoy the Buenos Aires sightseeing bus and one night of accommodation with breakfast.
Tour Options
When booking, you can choose one of the following tour options.
Bus to Colonia + Ferry to Buenos Aires + Sightseeing Bus
Day 1:
On the first day, you'll have to arrive at 6:15 am at the Tres Cruces bus terminal. From this point in Montevideo, you'll take a bus to Colonia del Sacramento, a beautiful Uruguayan city located about 3 hours away.
At 9:30 am, you'll arrive at the port of Colonia del Sacramento, where you'll take the Buquebus ferry to Buenos Aires. After a crossing of approximately 1 hour, you'll arrive at the dock of Puerto Madero.
Once you disembark in the Argentinian capital, we'll take you from the port to a hotel in Buenos Aires. You'll have the rest of the day to spend as you please.
Day 2:
In the morning, after breakfast at the hotel, you can enjoy the Buenos Aires sightseeing bus at the time that suits you best. The tour starts in Recoleta, at number 535 of avenida Presidente Manuel Quintana.
This convertible vehicle includes an audio guide in English and makes 22 stops in a route of 3 hours and 20 minutes. It runs every day from 9 am to 8 pm (last service at 5 pm), every 15 minutes.

Please note that at around 4:30 pm, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Buenos Aires and take you to the Puerto Madero dock, where at 6:45 pm, you'll have to take the ferry to Colonia del Sacramento. 60 minutes later, you'll arrive at the port of this Uruguayan city, where you'll take the bus to Montevideo.
Arrival at the bus station at Terminal Tres Cruces, in the Uruguayan capital, is scheduled for 10 pm.

Direct Ferry to Buenos Aires + Sightseeing Bus
Day 1:
At 9:30 am, you’ll need to be at Montevideo Port, Buquebus Terminal. From there, you’ll take a direct ferry to Buenos Aires.
After a crossing of the Río de la Plata of approximately 2.5 hours, the Buquebus ferry will drop you off at the Puerto Madero dock. Arrival in this area of the port of Buenos Aires is scheduled for 1:45 pm.
Once you disembark at Puerto Madero, a vehicle will be waiting for you at the pier to take you to a hotel in Buenos Aires. Then, you'll have the rest of the day to spend as you please.
Day 2:
After breakfast at the hotel, you can enjoy the Buenos Aires sightseeing bus tour described above.
Please note that at 1:30 pm, we'll pick you up at the hotel in Buenos Aires to take you to the pier of Puerto Madero. At 4 pm, the direct Buquebus ferry to Montevideo will depart. Arrival at the port of the Uruguayan capital is scheduled for 6:30 pm.
