When you book you can choose from three different excursions. All have a duration of eight to ten hours and include an English-speaking guide, transport in a private vehicle, pick up from your hotel and return transfer.
After picking you up at your hotel in Muscat we'll set off in a minibus to one of Oman's most famous natural sites: the Wadi Shab valley.
After an hour and a half on the road, we'll take a boat to an incredible natural canyon. We'll enjoy the landscape paying special attention to the steep walls, the plantations and the natural swimming pools that surround us. You'll be able to swim in these paradisiacal pools!
After regaining strength with a delicious local meal, we'll head to the Bimmah Sinkhole Lake, one of the most beautiful sinkholes in the world! As we walk through this jewel of nature, we'll talk about the local legend, which points to a star as the origin of the lake. You'll love it!
We'll pick you up at the hotel in Muscat and start the tour visiting Nizwa, a historical city one and a half hours away. While we talk about the glorious past of the ancient capital of Oman, we'll enter its bustling souk, which offers everything from dates to jewellery.
Our next stop will be the Omani fortress, to tour its rooms, corridors and towers which offer unique views of the city. We'll also talk about the Yaruba dynasty and its powerful influences in the 17th century.
Then we'll head to Misfah Al Abreen, a picturesque village of old houses and narrow streets. After enjoying the scenery, we'll head to the last stop of the tour: the Grand Canyon. This natural site in the Jabel Shams mountain will captivate you with its 3000 meters high. Get your camera ready!
We'll pick you up at your hotel in Muscat and head out into the desert for a day full of adventure. Are you ready?
On board of an all-terrain vehicle we'll cross the Omani desert dunes. It'll be like sailing in a sea of sand! During the day we'll take the opportunity to visit the traditional houses in the desert and get to know the lifestyle of the Bedouin tribes.
To feel the contrasts of the desert, we'll go to Wadi Bani Khalid, a real oasis of crystalline waters. After enjoying a well-deserved lunch and a refreshing swim, we'll continue the visit through the villages of the area.
Finally, we'll return to the hotels in Muscat.
