Can you imagine what the coast of Muscat looks like at sunset from the sea? To find out, we'll meet at the indicated time at Nimr Nimr St, Muscat 123. There, after a brief introduction, we'll walk to the beach, where we'll assign you kayaks to start the trip. Let's paddle!
With paddles in hand, we'll glide over the calm waters of Qurum, enveloped in a silence that will only be interrupted by the murmur of the waves and the splash of the paddles. As we go, we'll see the coastline of the Gulf of Oman unfold in all its splendour with its ochre cliffs, coves and beaches hidden in the distance.
During this 2-hour kayak route, the sky will start to turn purple, pink and gold. Did you know that on the Omani coast, some fishermen still sail in traditional dhows? If we're lucky, we might see one of them, which will create a unique image under the setting sun.
We'll approach some spots that are only accessible by sea, where we'll anchor the kayaks and you can swim. We'll discover small beaches protected by rock formations and stretches of coastline where the sand contrasts with the blue of the sea.
Finally, we'll paddle back to the meeting point and say our goodbyes.
