At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel or Nairobi Airport and we'll begin this tour that will provide some of the best views of the Kenyan capital and the Great Rift Valley. Ready to hike in the Ngong Hills? Let's go!
We'll travel to the base of these incredible mountains in Nairobi's outskirts, where we'll begin our hiking trail that will have you captivated from start to finish. We'll begin by walking through green landscapes while we learn many interesting facts about our surroundings.
The hike will take us up 1961 metres (6433 feet) of the Ngong Hills, where we'll get to enjoy some of the best scenic views of Nairobi. During our trek, we'll pass farms, radio stations, and windmills. Without a doubt an incredibly diverse landscape!
Additionally, these hills are famous for being the setting of numerous films and series, such as the famous Out of Africa, starring Meryl Streep as Karen Blixen. Did you know that Blixen's lover, Denys Finch Hatton, was buried here?
After 4 hours of hiking upwards, we'll enjoy a well-deserved rest admiring the landscape and you'll have some free time to re-energise before beginning our descent.
We'll end our hike by returning to our starting point before taking you back to your hotel or the airport. After a total of 8 hours, our adventures in Ngong Hills will come to an end.
