Tour Details
Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Bogoria
At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Nairobi and begin our journey to one of the most unique and least-known spots in Kenya. Let's go to Lake Bogoria!
We'll travel to the lake in the Great Rift Valley, enjoying the fascinating and rugged landscapes that characterise this area. Throughout the trip, we'll admire Mount Logonot and some of the most important and beautiful lakes in the country, such as Naivasha, Lake Elmenteita, and Lake Nakuru.
Before reaching our destination, we'll make a stop to rest in the city of Nakuru and at the Equator line. We're sure that you'll love walking around this emblematic place!
At lunchtime, we'll reach our accommodation in Lake Bororia. We'll re-energise with a delicious meal and begin the tour to enjoy the amazing landscapes in this spot. Welcome to flamingo's paradise!
We'll explore the Lake Bogoria reserve, and we'll see streaks of pink, characterised by thousands of flamingos that go to the lake to reproduce. We'll also reveal all the fascinating details about this lake, as it’s the only one in Kenya where you can see active geysers.
Lastly, we'll return to our accommodation to have dinner and rest after this exciting day.
Day 2: Lake Bogoria – Nairobi
We'll have breakfast in our hotel before beginning our second day in the best way possible. Ready to go on a boat ride? We'll sail along Lake Baringo, which is the habitat for flamingos, as well as other aquatic species and birds, like the osprey.
After a 1.5-hour boat ride, we'll return to dry ground and begin our journey to Nairobi. Our trip will come to an end at your hotel around 6 pm.
