Jalatlaco & Xochimilco Bike Tour
Tour Details
At the agreed time, we’ll meet at the meeting point to adjust the bikes, put on our helmets and set off on a 2-hour adventure on two wheels that will take you on a journey to discover the soul of Oaxaca in a much more dynamic way than a walking tour.
First, we’ll cycle towards the historic neighbourhood of Xochimilco. As we ride at a leisurely pace, we’ll admire its streets flanked by stunning urban art murals and pass by its famous colonial aqueduct, an architectural gem steeped in centuries of history.
Next, we’ll head into the Jalatlaco neighbourhood, famous for its irresistible bohemian charm. Its cobbled streets, lively cafés and, above all, its façades decorated with art inspired by the Day of the Dead will have you falling in love at first sight. Get your camera ready!
During the tour, our expert guide and experienced cyclist will reveal the secrets of Oaxacan culture as we pass by such iconic landmarks as the majestic Oaxaca Cathedral and the imposing Fountain of the 8 Regions.
Before we finish, we’ll head to the Trinidad de las Huertas neighbourhood, a traditional spot where some of the city’s most iconic and delicious aguas frescas are made. The perfect finishing touch to cool off after our bike ride!
Finally, we’ll wrap up the bike tour by returning to the starting point.
