Arrowtown & Gibbston Tour
Queenstown Sightseeing Tour
On the day of the tour, we'll meet at the meeting point in Queenstown, where we'll board a vehicle to travel to one of the most beautiful areas of the South Island of New Zealand.
First, we'll stop in Ayrburn, a modern gastronomic and wine-growing venue located in a historic farm that's 160 years old.
Then, we'll head towards Arrowtown across the Shotover River. The drive will take about 20 minutes. Once we arrive in this small town, you'll have 30 minutes of free time to wander the streets. Many of the historic buildings date back to the late 19th century when the Otago Gold Rush took place.
Back in the vehicle, we'll drive to the Gibbston Valley, an area famous for its extensive vineyards. First, we'll stop at Kawarau Bridge, where you'll enjoy amazing views of the river. Did you know that this footbridge is very popular with bungee jumpers? Afterwards, we'll visit a local winery to share a delicious aperitif. This tasting includes a glass of wine and a New Zealand cheese board.
At the end of the tasting, we'll start our journey back to the meeting point in Queenstown, where we'll conclude this activity of 4.5 hours in total.
