Visit one of the most charming villages in southern New Zealand and enjoy a boat trip on Lake Wakatipu all in one day. You'll even indulge in some wine and cheese tasting in the Gibbston Valley.
Queenstown Sightseeing Tour
At the selected time we'll meet at 48 Camp Street in Queenstown where we'll hop into a vehicle that will take us to a nearby viewpoint. Here we'll make a brief stop to admire the best views of the city.
We'll then set off on a 20-minute journey towards Arrowtown across the Shotover River. Once we reach this small town, you'll have half an hour of free time to explore. Many of its historic buildings date back to the late 19th century when the so-called Otago Gold Rush occurred.
Back in the vehicle, we'll head to the Gibbston Valley, an area famous for its extensive vineyards. First, we'll stop at the Kawarau Bridge, where you'll enjoy a breathtaking view of the river. This area is very popular for bungee jumping! Next, we'll visit a wine cellar where we'll enjoy a delicious glass of local wine and a selection of mouthwatering cheeses from New Zealand.
Lastly, we'll go on a boat ride over Lake Wakatipu, one of the most photographed landscapes in the country. An hour and a half later we'll make our way back to the pier in Queenstown to end the trip.
