When booking, you can choose between different private tours of Reykjavik. All options include pickup and drop-off at your hotel and an English-speaking guide exclusively for you. Below are the details of each option:

Reykjavik Tour (2 hours)

During the tour, we’ll visit the main landmarks of the Icelandic capital while sharing the most fascinating details of its history. Hallgrímskirkja Church, one of Reykjavik’s icons; the Sun Voyager, a steel sculpture on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean; and Harpa Concert Hall, the country’s most important cultural center, will be some of the stops along the way.

We can also visit Reykjavik’s Old Harbour, one of the busiest areas of the capital, or the National Church of Iceland, a temple with a highly significant history. Your guide will also show you some of Reykjavik’s hidden gems and tell you about the exciting stories of Icelandic mythology. You’ll even learn how to speak like real Vikings!

After 2 hours of sightseeing, we’ll take you back to your hotel.

Reykjavik Food Tour (3 hours)

Would you like to discover Reykjavik through its flavors? On this private food tour, we’ll introduce you to authentic Icelandic cuisine, a perfect way to explore its history and culture.

During this 3 hour tour, we’ll enjoy a tasting of different local delicacies while learning about the main ingredients used in Icelandic cooking, its techniques, and its cultural heritage. It’ll feel like traveling back in time through food! We’ll also talk about the importance of Reykjavik’s restaurants and their undeniable quality.

We’ll stroll through downtown Reykjavik and learn what the Vikings ate and how Icelandic cuisine has evolved over the centuries. The food tour includes several Icelandic dishes, such as lamb soup, an Icelandic-style hot dog, skyr, and lobster soup. You’ll even be able to try fermented shark!

Reykjavik Beer Tour (2.5 hours)

If you’d like to experience a different side of Reykjavik, this beer tour is perfect. During the tour, we’ll visit different bars in the capital and taste up to 9 Icelandic craft beers. Skál!

With this experience, in addition to learning about Reykjavik’s brewing tradition, you’ll have a great time discovering the best local breweries. If you don’t like beer, no problem! We can arrange a tasting of delicious Icelandic gin, vodka, or the unmistakable Brennivín, the national drink.

After exploring Reykjavik’s bars, we’ll take you back to your hotel and give you the best tips to continue enjoying the local nightlife.
