The Riga sightseeing bus runs 2 routes covering the city’s main sights. The red line lasts 60 minutes and the blue line lasts 40 minutes. Along the route, you’ll enjoy recorded commentary in English, so you won’t miss any interesting details about the places the bus passes.
For example, the red line takes you past some of Riga’s most iconic locations. On board the bus, you’ll pass Triangula Bastion and the Old Town, the Bellevue Hotel, and the Ferris wheel. You’ll also see Kipsala Island, the Powder Tower, and the War Museum. Of course, the route also passes in front of the National Opera, the Museum of Medicine, and the elegant Art Nouveau district.

The Riga sightseeing bus ticket is valid for 24 or 48 consecutive hours from activation. During that time, you can hop on and off the buses as many times as you like. For example, if you activate it on a Monday at 10 am, it’ll be valid until 10 am on Tuesday if you choose the 24-hour ticket, or until Wednesday if you choose the 48-hour option.
