Boat Ride Details
Interested in sailing while admiring the coastline of Rio de Janeiro? If so, at the designated time, we'll meet at the Marina da Glória. Once we've all met and gotten ready, we'll board the boat that will take us on a journey to see the Brazilian city from the sea. Let's set sail!
We'll head toward the Guanabara Bay, first enjoying the privileged views of the Santos Dumont Airport. During this part of the sail, you'll see the planes taking off and landing close to the water. Amazing!
A bit later, we'll see Ilha Fiscal, or Fiscal Island, famous for being where the last party of the Empire of Brazil took place in 1889. Who would've thought that such a luxurious event would mark the end of an era and the beginning of the First Brazilian Republic?
Our tour will continue in front of the Museum of Tomorrow, a modern architectural gem that symbolizes innovation and sustainability in Porto Maravilha. Before you know it, we'll reach Niterói. Here, we'll dock the boat to admire the beauty of the Museum of Contemporary Art, which looks like it floats, creating a unique contrast to the coastal landscape.
Afterward, we'll go in search of the Praia Adão e Eva or Praia da Enseada, depending on the weather. At these beaches, you'll be given paddleboards. To complete the experience, you'll enjoy some snacks accompanied by 4 drinks, to choose between soft drinks, beers, or water. What a great plan!
Last but not least, we'll begin our journey back with a different route, where we'll pass by the neighborhood of Urca and Flamengo Beach. As we progress, you'll also see the unmistakable silhouette of Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain.
Finally, after this 3-hour boat ride, we'll say our goodbyes at the starting point.
