Have you ever dreamt of visiting a hotel made of ice and snow? Well, here’s your chance! With this ticket, you can explore the Arctic SnowHotel, right in the heart of Finnish Lapland.
Every year, towards the end of March or early April, the complex melts away completely. When winter arrives, the Arctic SnowHotel team collects around 20,000 tonnes (44.1 million pounds) of snow and some 300 tonnes (661,400 pounds) of ice from the nearby lake to build a brand-new complex. The temperature inside the complex is kept between 0 °C and -5 °C (32 °F and 23 °F).
During your visit, you’ll be able to wander through its corridors and admire the various suites and rooms, each decorated with themed designs and ice sculptures created by international artists.
You can explore the Ice Chapel, dine at the Ice Restaurant or pop into the famous Ice Bar, where you’ll have the chance to enjoy a drink served in an ice glass. What’s more, outside you can enjoy the toboggan run and slide down the snow. A real fantasy!
