After picking you up at your hotel in Rovaniemi at the time indicated, we'll give you warm clothes and boots so that you are well equipped for the cold. We'll set off north and go in search of the beautiful natural phenomenon.
The guide, a Northern Lights expert, will have researched the area to find where this wonder is most likely to appear on the day of the tour.
We'll explore the Finnish landscape while waiting for the magical northern lights to appear. Just like that, you'll start to see the green-toned sparkles that illuminate the night sky, this impressive image will be unforgettable!
Also, during the tour, we'll learn how to make a bonfire without lighters or matches. When we become experts we'll heat up some tea and prepare some sausages that we'll sample inside a traditional Finnish cabin, known as laavu.
After four hours of walking, we'll finish the activity returning to Rovaniemi with the image of the northern lights fresh in our minds.
Aurora Borealis
As this is a natural phenomenon, it isn't possible to ensure that you'll see the aurora borealis.
Pickup
The tour includes hotel pickup from hotels up to 10 km outside of Rovaniemi. If your accommodation is not within this perimeter, the meeting point will be Rovakatu 24, 96200 Rovaniemi, Finland.
