Having picked you up from your hotel in central Salvador da Bahia or Litoral Norte, depending on your booking, we'll head to the famous neighbourhood of Barra to see its iconic lighthouse.
We'll head towards Pelourinho, which is located in the historic centre of Salvador da Bahia, and visit the famous Terreiro de Jesus square. If you'd like, you can also head inside the Church and Convent of São Francisco and explore its interior. In Pelourinho, we'll leave you free time to have lunch on your own - be sure to ask the guide for some recommendations!
During the tour we'll also see the unique Lacerda Elevator, from which you can admire beautiful views of Salvador's coastline. We recommend coming back another day to hop on the lift, as the views are definitely worth seeing! Another interesting spot to explore would be the Mercado Modelo, which is great for browsing locally-made handicrafts.
Next, we'll come to the highlight of our sightseeing tour. This would be the Church of Nosso Senhor do Bonfim, a beloved Catholic church in Salvador da Bahia with a rich history. Afterward, we'll head to the Memorial Church of Santa Dulce and admire its architecture from the outside. Then, we'll take you back to your hotel and drop you off between 8 and 9 hours after pickup.
