Discover the best of Salvador da Bahia on this comfortable sightseeing bus tour through one of Brazil's most captivating cities, a place of striking contrasts between the historic Cidade Alta and the vibrant Cidade Baixa.
Tour Details
After picking you up from your hotel, we'll set off on a route through Salvador da Bahia's most iconic landmarks.
We'll head to the Church of Nosso Senhor do Bonfim, one of the most beloved Catholic churches in Salvador da Bahia, with a history full of faith and tradition. Don't forget to pick up one of the famous Fitinhas de Bonfim bracelets! Your guide will tell you all about the legend behind them.
We'll also take in the unique Lacerda Elevator, a fascinating piece of urban engineering that has connected the Cidade Alta with the Cidade Baixa since the 19th century, offering beautiful views of Salvador's coastline along the way.
The route continues to the Mercado Modelo, the largest artisan market in the city, where you'll find traditional crafts, souvenirs, and local products. We'll also explore its famous basement, wrapped in curious stories and popular legends.
Depending on the route we take that day, we may also pass through the charming coastal neighborhood of Ribeira, the historic Pelourinho and Terreiro de Jesus square, visit the Memorial Church of Santa Dulce, and stop at the iconic Barra lighthouse.
We'll drop you back at your hotel 4 hours after pickup.
