We'll pick you up from your hotel in San Jose at 7 am and set off for the Tarcoles River to meet some very special reptiles!
After an hour's journey, we'll arrive at the Tarcoles River, one of the four waterways that flow into the Gulf of Nicoya. Here we'll hop on a boat and sail off to meet the crocodiles! Did you know this area is home to one of the largest crocodile populations in the world?
We'll spend two hours sailing the waters of the river as we find out all about these iconic animals. Did you know that they can be up to five metres long?
What's more, we'll also visit the Guacalillo Estuary, where we'll see an impressive ecosystem made up of four types of mangroves. At the end of the trip, we'll recharge our batteries with a delicious typical lunch at the South Beach Hotel in Jacó and enjoy a well-deserved rest.
At the end of this unforgettable experience, we'll make our way back to your hotels in San José for around 6 pm.
