Day Trip Details
At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in San José and begin our journey to Tortuga Island, in the Gulf of Nicoya. Ready to get to know one of the most pristine natural spots in Costa Rica? Let's go!
We'll leave the capital behind and, after almost 2 hours on the road, we'll reach Puntarenas. Here, we'll hop on a catamaran or a yacht, depending on availability, and sail for 2 hours, enjoying the beautiful scenic views. You'll have fruit, ceviche, an open bar of margaritas and rum punch, entertainment, and a DJ onboard. What more could you ask for?!
We'll begin to see Tortuga Island and its coastline featuring turquoise waters and golden beaches, which contrast perfectly against the green vegetation. Once we disembark in this paradise, you'll have 5 hours of free time to enjoy on the island. What a luxury!
After settling into the sun beds, you'll be able to play volleyball on the beach, take a dip in the water, and relax under the sun. To re-energise, you'll get to enjoy a delicious lunch, including fish or chicken fillets, rice, sautéed vegetables, salads, a glass of sangria, and Costa Rican coffee.
Lastly, we'll board the boat once more to set sail to Puntarenas and make our way back to the capital. We'll say our goodbyes at your hotel in San José after a total of 15 hours.
