If you've got a few days to spare in San José, you'll love our surfing lesson in Jacó. During this fun class, you'll learn how to ride the waves in the breathtaking Gulf of Nicoya. All levels welcome!
At 8 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in San José and take you to Jacó on the Central Pacific coast of Costa Rica. Let's go surfing.
Don't worry if you've never gone surfing before, as no previous experience is necessary for this lesson. Whether you're a beginner or a pro looking to perfect your technique, you'll have a great day in the sea.
When we get to the beach in Jacó, we'll offer you a drink before we kick off with a brief theory introduction to surfing. We'll stay on the sand for some time and practise some basic moves on the board so you can get the hang of keeping your balance.
Once you're feeling a little more confident, it'll be time to head into the water. We'll try to put everything the instructor's told us into practice as we surf the waves in the Gulf of Nicoya.
Feeling peckish? We'll take a break so you can have lunch at your leisure before heading back to San José. You'll be able to bring your own lunch or snacks to keep your energy levels high after an intense day.
After the surfing lesson, we'll take you back to your hotel in San José and drop you off at 4 pm.
