What to See in San José
If you want to get to know San José, this sightseeing tour is the perfect way to see its top attractions. After picking you up from your hotel, we'll hop on a double-decker bus and set off on a complete tour of the city. On board, you'll be welcomed with a traditional fruit drink.
Along the way, we'll pass the National Theater, the city's greatest architectural gem, and the Rafael Ángel Calderón Guardia Museum. We'll also stop at the Central Market, where you can do some shopping, and then see the new National Stadium from the outside.
After a full tour of the city, we'll head back to your hotel.

When you book this sightseeing tour of San José, you can choose one of these options:
Tour + Lunch
If you choose the morning tour, we'll follow the itinerary above and stop along the way for a delicious lunch. You'll get to try casado, a traditional Costa Rican dish, at a local restaurant. We'll also visit the Pre-Columbian Gold Museum.
After lunch, we'll continue our tour of San José and head back to your hotel after 5 to 6 hours.
Tour + Dinner
With this option, we'll pick you up from your hotel in the afternoon to start our tour of the city while you enjoy a welcome drink. We'll also visit the Costa Rican Art Museum and the Metropolitan Cathedral.
To wrap up the day in style, we'll enjoy a dinner featuring traditional Costa Rican casado at a local restaurant.
We'll head back to your hotel 5 to 6 hours later.

The tours run at the following times:
- Tour + Lunch: 10:30 am to 3 pm
- Tour + Dinner: 3:15 pm to 7 pm
