Quad Tour Details
Ready to drive through the highest part of the southern villages of Lake Atitlán? Then you'll love this route! We'll start this adventure on 2da. Calle de San Juan La Laguna. Once we're ready, we'll tell you the safety measures and provide you with the quads and helmets. Time to drive!
We'll start the journey toward the neighboring town of San Pedro La Laguna. Along the way, we'll stop at strategic lookouts where you'll be able to see the entire town, the mountain called Rostro Maya, and Lake Atitlán in all its grandeur. Did you take your best pictures?
Afterward, the journey will continue toward San Marcos La Laguna, where the Cerro Tzankujil Nature Reserve awaits. This site is perfect to disconnect, walk along its trails, and explore the lake's coast. You'll have time to take a refreshing dip in the lake and, if you're up for it, you'll have the chance to dive into the water from its famous 65.61-foot (20-meter) tall platform.
We'll then return to our quads and drive toward San Juan La Laguna to climb up to the Kaqasiiwaan viewpoint. Once there, we'll descend from our vehicles and climb up the stairs for 15 minutes until we reach the mountain's peak. From here, you'll have one of the best views of Lake Atitlán and the Volcán San Pedro.
After enjoying this last scenic spot, we'll begin our journey back to the starting point on board our quads. With new memories from this quad experience, we'll say our goodbyes after a total of 5 hours.
