Want to learn about El Salvador's history? If so, at the indicated time, we'll start this free tour of San Salvador from the city centre, one of the most picturesque in Central America.

During the tour, we'll visit iconic places of the Salvadoran capital such as the Metropolitan Cathedral of San Salvador, which houses the tomb of Archbishop Oscar Romero. Here, we'll learn about his inspiring struggle for human rights.

Next to the cathedral, we'll also see the Kilometre 0 point, the National Palace of El Salvador and the BINAES National Library, one of the city's main cultural landmarks.

Very close to all these buildings are the Plaza de la Libertad and the National Theatre of El Salvador, where we'll also stop to learn about the history of the most famous performances that have taken place on its stage.

We'll also pass by the main food markets of the Salvadoran capital, such as the Central Market of San Salvador or the Hula Hula Market. Do you know what the most popular products are? We'll find out!
