Tour Details
Depending on where you leave from, we'll pick you up at your hotel at the indicated time. We'll board a comfortable bus that will take us northwest to El Boquerón National Park, a protected area of more than 54 hectares of extension.
On the way to the volcanic area, we'll stop at the Reconciliation Monument. A sculpture with great significance that we'll discover along the way. We'll continue the excursion to "The Little Prince" Theme Park, in Santa Tecla. There, we'll learn about Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's relationship with El Salvador.
We'll then arrive at the protected area located more than 4,265 ft (1,300m) above sea level, right at the top of the San Salvador volcano. We'll then head back down through the trails of El Boquerón National Park and admire the diversity of fauna and flora that inhabit the area.
Next, we'll get back on the vehicle to head to an area where we'll see the solidified lava from the last eruption – a real natural spectacle!
