Arenal Volcano & Baldi Hot Springs Tour
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in San José. From there, we'll depart for one of the most beautiful natural areas of Costa Rica.
First, we'll stop to visit the town of Sarchí, considered to be the birthplace of Costa Rican handicrafts. After this short stop, we'll drive through pineapple and mango plantations to the entrance of the Arenal Volcano National Park, located just outside La Fortuna.
Here, we'll enjoy lunch in a traditional restaurant. The menu includes: beef, chicken or fish, vegetables, salad, rice and beans, pasta and vegetable stew, plus dessert and local fruit juice.
While having lunch, we'll enjoy incredible views of the volcano, which recorded its last period of activity on July 29, 1968. Since then, it has been producing gases and steam, making it the most active volcano in Costa Rica.
After visiting one of the most famous craters in the world, we'll enjoy a relaxing dip in the thermal waters, which can be at the Hotel Baldi Los Lagos Resort & Spa La Fortuna or the more luxurious option at Ecotermales La Fortuna, depending on what you choose during the booking process. Did you know these pools have origins in the Arenal Volcano? Plus, they're surrounded by tropical gardens that will make you feel like you're in a true paradise.
To end the day, we'll refuel with a delicious dinner and then return to your hotel in San José, where you'll arrive 15 hours after pickup.
