Day Trip Details
At the indicated time, we’ll pick you up from your hotel in Sharm el-Sheikh and head to the airport. There, we’ll board a flight that will take us to Cairo in less than 1 hour.
Once we arrive in Egypt’s capital, we’ll travel by minibus to the Grand Egyptian Museum, inaugurated in November 2025. Its extensive exhibition covers more than 5,000 years of history through unique treasures and artifacts from the pharaonic period. Among the highlights are the colossus of Ramses II, the solar boat of Khufu, and the treasure of Tutankhamun.
Next, we’ll enjoy a traditional lunch at a restaurant overlooking the Giza pyramids, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. After lunch, we’ll explore the plateau of these monumental funerary structures, taking photos and learning about their history.
We’ll discuss how the pyramids were built, how long they took to complete, and the secrets they hold, while walking alongside these iconic monuments of ancient Egypt.
We’ll also talk about the pharaohs Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, and see the Great Sphinx of Giza. You’ll then have 1 hour of free time to explore the area at your own pace.
Finally, we’ll return to Cairo airport to take the flight back to Sharm el-Sheikh. After a total of 13 to 14 hours, we’ll drop you off at your hotel.

Q - Will we go inside any of the pyramids?
A - Admission to the pyramids isn’t included in the price. However, if you wish, you can buy a ticket on your own and visit one of them during your free time in Giza. The entrance fee to the Pyramid of Khufu is 900EGP, to the Pyramid of Khafre 220EGP, and to the Pyramid of Menkaure 220EGP.

Q - Do we need to bring any documentation?
A - To take part in this activity, it’s mandatory to have a valid Egypt entry visa. Passengers without the proper visa won’t be able to board the flight to Cairo or pass the security control. In addition, we require copies of all participants’ passports at the time of booking.
