Day Trip Details
We'll pick you up at the designated time from the meeting point you select in Sorrento, and we'll make our way towards the port to begin our day trip along the Amalfi Coast by boat. As we sail, you'll get to enjoy views of the shoreline as we tell you the history of the region.
Our first stop will be Amalfi. Before arriving, we'll admire beautiful spots such as the Bagni della Regina Giovanna, a natural pool where, so the story goes, Queen Giovanna II of Naples would enjoy secret baths. Could it be true?
We'll also travel past Baia de Leranto, a natural reserve that, according to Greek mythology, was home to the sirens who tried to lure Odysseus with their songs during one of his journeys. Additionally, we'll get to see Li Galli Island, the Bay of Nerano, Praiano, and the Fiordo di Furore, where a famous diving competition is held every year.
Once we arrive at Amalfi, you'll have 1 hour of free time to explore the picturesque monuments in the city that have been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site at your own pace, as well as iconic landmarks such as the Duomo di Sant'Andrea with its Arab-Norman-style façade.
Afterwards, we'll hop onto a minibus to head to Ravello, a peaceful village that has been a source of inspiration for numerous artists and writers throughout the years. Here, you'll have 1 hour of free time to explore the beautiful Villa Rufolo and its garden, which offers impressive views of the Gulf of Salerno.
We'll then return to Amalfi by minibus and sail to Positano, known as the pearl of the Amalfi Coast. Here, you'll have 1 hour of free time to lose yourself down its narrow streets, explore artisanal and ceramics shops, and let yourself be charmed by its unique atmosphere. Get ready to take great photos of its colourful houses and beaches!
Lastly, we'll return to the meeting point, where this day trip will come to an end after a total of 8 hours.
