Tabernas Desert Jeep Tour
We'll meet at the Tourist Information Office and get on a 4x4 vehicle to start a tour of the Tabernas desert.
In a few minutes we'll enter the landscapes of the Tabernas Desert Natural Park, characterised by rock formations caused by erosion, the so-called "badlands".
Throughout our tour, we'll make several stops to get to know the geology of Tabernas in depth. The climate is so extreme (more than 3,000 hours of sunshine a year and less than 300 millimetres of rain) that it creates a practically desert-like landscape.
During the tour, we'll also learn some secrets of western movies. The film director Sergio Leone chose these landscapes for many movies such as "Death had a Price" and "The Good, the Ugly and the Bad", starring Clint Eastwood. We'll reveal some anecdotes that took place during the filming of some scenes, with the desert landscape of Tabernas as the main character.
After approximately 2 hours, we'll return to the Tabernas Tourist Office.

- We advise taking water, comfortable clothing and high grade sunscreen if the tour takes place in the spring and summer months.
