One of the most beautiful libraries in the world, hot springs, and unspoiled nature await you on this tour to Beitou and Yangmingshan from Taipei.
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from the MRT Zhongxiao Xinsheng metro Station. There, we'll board a minibus to take you to the Taipei Public Library. This place is considered one of the 25 most beautiful public libraries in the world, according to a popular culture magazine. And indeed, the unique and mesmerizing shape of the building won't fail to surprise you.
After admiring this incredible building, we'll move on to the Beitou Hot Spring Museum, built during the Japanese colonial era. This visit will help us to better understand the importance of hot springs in their culture.
Our next destination will be Yangmingshan National Park, where we'll admire its unique flower clock. Did you know that they change the type of flowers according to the season so that they are always in full bloom?
Here, we'll also visit the Yangming Shu-Wu Mansion, the former summer residence of former President Chiang Kai-shek. We'll continue our tour exploring the agricultural area of Zhuzihu, after which you'll have time to enjoy lunch on your own.
We'll continue our journey into Xiaoyoukeng to discover some of the most spectacular scenery in the area. Lava terraces, steam, sulphur crystals and many more surprises await us.
Before the tour ends, we'll drive to Lengshuikeng for a relaxing foot bath in the hot springs. After about 9 hours, we'll drive you back to the starting point.
