Samarkanda & Bukhara Private 3 Day Tour
Day 1: Tashkent - Samarkand
We'll fetch you from your hotel or Tashkent airport after 9 am and head to Tashkent Central Station, where a high-speed train will whisk us to Samarkand. After just over two hours of travel, we'll step into this iconic UNESCO World Heritage City.
Our guided exploration of Samarkand will commence at the Guri Emir mausoleum. Then we'll proceed to Registan Square, home to three awe-inspiring madrasahs (Ulughbek, Shirdar, and Tillakori). We won't miss out on visiting the Shahi Zindah necropolis and the Bibi Khanum Mosque, so have your cameras ready!
Following your lunch break, we'll delve into the Siyab Bazaar, a vibrant market brimming with spices, textiles, and other captivating goods.
Around 4 pm, we'll check in at the hotel, giving you the rest of the afternoon to relax or continue exploring the city on your own.
Day 2: Samarkand - Bukhara
At 8 am, we will head to Samarkand train station. After a journey of only 40 minutes, we will arrive in Bukhara, one of the most multicultural cities in Uzbekistan.
Ready to see the sights? We will enjoy a guided tour that will take us through the Naqshbandi memorial complex, the Chor Bakr necropolis, and the majestic Sitorai Mohi-Hosa Palace. As we tour Bukhara, we will talk about its exciting history and its relationship with Islam.
Finally, we will drive to the hotel so you can rest or continue exploring the city at your leisure.
Day 3: Bukhara - Tashkent
We will spend the last day of the tour visiting the rest of Bukhara's monuments. The old part of the city has been declared a World Heritage Site due to its artistic and cultural value - no wonder!
During the day, you will have the opportunity to visit the mausoleum of Ismail Samani, the Bolo Hauz Mosque, the Madrasa of Abdul Aziz Khan, the Masjidi Kalyan complex, and the Arq Fortress, the subject of a romantic legend.
After lunch, we will head to Bukhara train station to return to the Uzbek capital. We will be back at the hotel in Tashkent at 7 pm.
